My Mom wanted me to make her this keyhole scarf for her birthday so I came up with my own version of this fun scarf! The keyhole allows you to place part of the other side of the scarf in the keyhole and keep your neck warm. I created a video if you need more assistance. I made it with a J hook and medium worsted yarn.
Supplies:
Medium
Worsted Impeccable Yarn with J hook
Abbreviations:
ch=chain
hdc=half
double crochet

Thank you for this beautiful pattern! I just made one for my son today with double strands and it turned out perfect.
Hi, I am making your key hole scarf for my sister and did it with 175 chains. Please tell me where I would start doing the keyhole. Please tell me asap so I can get this done by early next wk at our family party. God bless you.thank you...
I only have the chain count for this pattern, I would have to rewrite the pattern with your chain count to know the hole, So I dont have an answer.
I LOVE this pattern! Thanks so much for sharing! I made 5 for Christmas presents, added a scallop to the ends of one, everybody loved them!
Is this long enough for a man? How long did yours end up?
what is the width of this please
Big enough for a man, I would make it bigger, you could try a bigger hook or thicker yarn for a man
I want to say the width was 3-4 inches, but I gave that scarf to my mom and I didnt measure it.
How many skeins?
I think I used two.
Such a perfect scarf, can someone tell me what the measurements of the scarf is? Width and length> Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful scarf.
I don't have that scarf around, and didnt write down the dimensions sorry
I've read the pattern and also watched the video. I am about to buy supplies and it is not clear how much yard I need. Is it just one ball of the yarn as pictured so size medium weight and 277 yards to complete the project? Also I tried to read the other replies to comments above and there wasn't anyway to do that?
sorry I don't remember how much yarn I used. I would say at least a skein of yarn.
