How to Crochet a Penguin Ear Flap Hat Pattern



Enjoy this Crochet Penguin Hat Pattern! This cute hat can be done in any size just change the hook size and use medium worsted yarn. 


Supplies:
H hook
Red heart black, white, orange, and blue yarn

Abbreviations:
ch=chain
sl st=slip stitch
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
dc2tog=double crochet 2 together
hdc=half double crochet

  2. I made one using a kind of bubbly black yarn, and my husband is bringing it to work for one of his co-workers daughters. I took a picture of it and now my daughter wants me to make one for her and one for her 13 year old daughter, and her 6 year old son. That was a pretty neat response.

  3. love to see it, for the 13 yr old, i would use a j hook, and make it 7 1/2 inches long, and keep it the same for the 6 yr old.

  5. I made this hat for my 4 year old....yesterday! It took me approx. 5 hours to make, it was sooo easy and she loves it. Thanks so much for your patterns. Such a life saver here so close to Christmas too!

You would think it wouldn't be that hard to find a free pattern online, but it is! I cannot believe how long I had to sit in front of my computer before I found a cute pattern I could print.
