How to Crochet a Mouse Ears Hat Pattern



Enjoy this Crochet Mouse Ears Hat Pattern! This cute hat can be done in any size just change the hook size and use medium worsted yarn.


Abbreviations:
ch=chain
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
sl st=slip stitch

Supplies:
I used Red Heart Love Black and Pink Yarn
G Hook, H hook, Yarn needle
buttons

toddler-preschooler (12 months-3 yrs), 18"-20" head cir., hat length=7" =G hook

  1. I made the hat, ears and bow. The pieces came out great. How do you get the ears to stand up? When I sew them on, they just flop backward! Did you sew some kind of stiffener onto the back? Any help would be appreciated!

  2. I used Red heart yarn, which is the stiffest yarn I found, you could make 4 cirlces and sew two circles together, but you could use fabric stiffner if that doesnt work.

  3. Sue,I used a circle oh plastic . I m are two ears with the plastic between the two for each ear. Worked perfectly.
