  2. you do a chain 3 to start, then front post, and then back post, alternate between the two of them and repeat again for the next rounds

  3. that depends how big you want the brim to be, either is fine

  6. Is it normal to see the seam where you move up a row? I feel like there is a decent size hole where I stitch 3. Am I doing something wrong or is that normal? Thanks so much! Ps love your stuff :)

  7. yes that is normal but if you dont like that hole, then you could do a chain 2 instead

  13. Do you have to start with a magic circle? I have no idea how to make one!

    ReplyDelete
  14. No you can do a chain 5, then slip stitch to join to create a ring, then chain 3, for your first dc, then work 10 more dc in the ring. sl st on top of the chain 3 or you can watch the video to learn how to do the magic circle.

  16. Hi, I'm new at crocheting and I've made an adult beanie. I'm now trying to make a child one for my niece. She's just turned 7. I find it crazy how just changing the needle it's for a child. Is this real? haha I'm currently on row 4 using the H needle. This is ok right? I'm nervous because I first tried some other video and I was more than half way with a "child hat" and it was too big for MY head. So I had to undo it and then I luckily found your video and site!!!!

  19. Thank you for the pattern. I am making a Pokeball hat. It would be nice if you told us how many rounds for each color at least for the adult size so we had a reference point. Again thank you for the patterns and the tutorials

  25. Please tell me why a toddler hook size is smaller then a 12 month size hook. No sense to me.

  26. I had to go down hook sizes to make it smaller, but here is hat for a baby with a large hook, try this one, https://www.amyscrochetpatterns.com/2017/01/crochet-0-3-months-puff-stitch-flower.html

  27. I am using hook sz F for 6-12 mos. sz hat but mine measures 20" instead of 16". My stitch count on last rows is 55. I'm using standard yarn although in the comments you said any size was ok. What am I doing wrong? Thx.
