How to Crochet a Pigtail Hat Pattern Tutorial

My daughter loves to wear pigtails, so I made her this hat so she can wear and have pigtails! I made it with an H hook and medium worsted yarn. This crochet hat can be done in all sizes; adjust the hook size and length accordingly. If you need more assistance, I uploaded an easy-to-follow video! If you're looking for a fun and easy crochet project, check out this tutorial on crochet a pigtail hat! This hat is perfect for adding warmth to your winter wardrobe.
In this video, we'll show you how to crochet a pigtail hat step-by-step. We'll also give you tips on how to make the hat fit perfectly and how to stop the hat from coming undone. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crocheter, this hat is a great project to try out!

  6. I made two of these for my 3 yr old twin granddaughters. Very easy, basic pattern. I added eyelash yarn as trim around the pony holes and in the band. My granddaughters loved them! Thanks so much for sharing!

  7. Hello! I have a Caron Chunky Cupcake that I'd like to use to make this, so the yarn is size 5. The yarn label recommends a K hook. I want to make this pattern for a child, what size hook would you recommend so I can use the larger yarn? Thank you!
