The crochet bead stitch is a pretty type of stitch that is great for scarfs, wash clothes, hats, afghan, etc.. I created a video if you need extra help. I used a f hook and baby size 3 yarn. This type stitch is done in multiples of 2.
Abbreviatons:
ch=chain
sl st=slip stitch
dc=double crochet
sc=single crochet
I'm switching to a WordPress blog instead of using this Blogger platform for various reasons, so this pattern has been relocated.

I call this the "tornado" stitch. :)

Thanks for this tutorial!

Awesome! "Tornado stitch" is exactly what I called it when I first saw it, too!☺️ It's easier for me to remember that way. Cheers!
DeleteIt's a fun stitch. Perfect for all the "Yarnado" yarn I ordered. However, I think I'm doing something wrong on the ends. The entire strip seems to be leaning sideways rather than straight.
ReplyDeleteMake sure to count all your stitches.
